Project description:
This renovation project consisted of the new installation of two mobile 400 Ton Chillers for the Miami International Airports terminal E. The project included the overall piping, welding and insulation of hundreds of feet of Glycol refrigerant cool lines connecting the 2 main chillers to the existing refrigerant lines of the Terminal E Building. It also included the integration of all the electrical, plumbing, and controls with existing airport infrastructure and the overall commissioning of the entire system.
Our team self performed 80% of this project which including chiller installation and all piping, welding, system integrations, and equipment start up and commissioning.
To safely facilitate construction working airside near air planes and airport personnel and security, we put together a comprehensive safety manual as well as barricaded our work area.
